"It´s easy to get lost in Javier Arrés´ work, and that´s exactly the
point. His hyper-detailed ink drawings of fantastical cities and
machinery and equally hypnotizing animated gifs he´s termed "Visual
Toys" invite us to expand our imaginations.
Javier has always been
interested in industrial landscapes, recalling models of miniature
cities and the classic SimCity games as some of his earliest
influences.
His intricate work has since garnered him the attention of
clients including the NFL and The New York Times, as well as numerous
awards, most recently winning first prize in the "Work on Paper"
category at the 2019 London Art Biennale."
